Consider joining the Bear Valley Mountain Cooperative, a California cooperative corporation established in 2014 so members could invest together to help this “best-kept secret of the Sierra” thrive economically.

A share in the Co-op costs $2,500 and will finance ideas that can grow Bear Valley sustainably into a community, destination, and trailhead to adventure. For example, in 2018 the Co-Op bought the Bear Valley cross-country skiing center and turned it into the Bear Valley Adventure Company, with greatly expanded program offerings. Other promising projects are in the works, and we need new members. Co-op members vote and invest in Bear Valley’s future — while enjoying special members-only events and earning rebates and dividends.
